The 729
Today is the day - it is August 1st, and Switzerland is celebrating its 729th birthday. We’re celebrating August 1st the best way we know how: a fantastic drink with lots of Swiss ingredients.
Amongst them are our Swiss Gin and Bitter, and we even incorporated a hint of chocolate. The Mountain Ice Cube is the icing on the cake.
Equipment

- Jigger
- Cocktail glass
Ingredients
- 30 ml The Alpinist Swiss Premium Bitter
- 30 ml The Alpinist Swiss Premium Dry Gin
- 30 ml fresh lime juice
- 30 ml egg white
- 20 ml orgeat (almond syrup)
- 1 dash chocolate bitters
- Ice
Preparation
Add all the ingredients (except chocolate bitters) to your shaker and shake vigorously for about 10 seconds. Fill your glass with ice cubes and pour your mixture into the cocktail glass. Spray a dash of the chocolate bitters over the drink and serve.
