- Cocktail Glass
- 40 ml The Alpinist Swiss Premium Dry Gin
- 15 ml Limoncello
- 80 ml Pomegranate juice
- 15 ml Pineapple syrup (homemade or, e.g. Giffard pineapple syrup)
- Crushed ice
- Ice cubes
- For the garnish: Drinking straw, lemon thyme, dried pineapples, and pomegranate seeds
Cool your cocktail glass in the freezer or with ice. Pour the gin, lime juice, pomegranate seeds, and pineapple juice into your shaker. Fill your shaker with some ice (to the top) and shake it vigorously for about 10 seconds. If you have not done so already, fill your glass with ice cubes up to the edge. Strain your mixture over the ice cubes. Afterwards, fill the glass with crushed ice and garnish with lemon thyme, a dried pineapple, and pomegranate seeds.
Recipe for pineapple syrup
- 320 g fresh pineapple
- 250 ml plain syrup
- 4 g (two teaspoons) “Grains of Paradise” (Scientific name: Aframomum melegueta)
- 30 g fresh ginger
Mix all the ingredients together in a mixer and strain the mixture in a glass bottle. Store in the refrigerator.
Recipe for Simple Syrup
- 125 g sugar
- 125 ml hot water
Combine sugar and water in a medium bowl. Stir with a spatula to dissolve sugar completely. Transfer to glass bottle and reserve in refrigerator.
